Kpop Star

I'm not a fan of American Idol, or the billion and a half other shows like it.
The only American music competition show that I enjoyed was The Sing Off.  Don't judge me, a capella can be good.

Anyway, there's a South Korean show called KPOP STAR.  I enjoy this show.  In this post I'm going to share some videos of the first and second place winners from season 2, which ended just recently.

Second place went to Bang Ye-dam.  I guess I'll just post a video now.

So, I liked that one.  I'm a fan of MJ songs.

I think I'll keep my comments to a minimum and just move one.

First place went to Akdong Musician, A brother and sister duo.

Akdong Musician - *don't worry if you don't recognize the songs, if there's interest I'll post the originals later.  For those of you who don't understand Korean(probably most) you can just skip around the video.  First song starts at about 1:40, the next at about 3:40.


They're good, but personally I like Bang Ye-dam better.

Now, if you watch the whole season, you see that was mostly a tribute to Bang Ye-dam.

That was fun, right?

In the end, all three of them got signed to the same record label.  My personal favourite group from the season didn't win.  I think my next post will feature them.
