Anyway, Mr Rogers Remix! I just stumbled across this the other night. I just love this song for some reason. I remember being really young and waking up early. I'd sit in front of the TV eating my Cheerios and watch Mr Roger's Neighborhood. I don't know, do kids have this kind of show these days? I guess there would be, right? With cable, there's about a billion channels and even some that only show children's programming. When I was young, there were no children focused TV channels that I can remember. There was Disney, but back then it was still a premium station, like HBO, so I didn't get it at my house. I had PBS, and I think ABC/CBS for Saturday morning cartoons. I don't even remember if Nikelodeon was a thing back then, the earliest I can remember it was late 80's maybe early 90's.
I wouldn't say Mr Rogers was my favourite growing up, but seeing this video brought back memories. I think Fraggle Rock and Snorks were probably my favourites. What shows did you love when you were growing up?
I LOVED Mr. Rogers growing up, even more than Sesame Street. (I think I am a bit older than you though...so that is all that we had.) When my kids became old enough to watch tv, I was so sad that Mr. Rogers wasn't on regularly anymore. It made me even more sad that they didn't care for the show when they did watch it. I don't think this generation "gets it". Maybe he talks too slow...there are no flashing lights...Whatever the reason it makes me sad. I LOVED when you posted this...I looked around youtube for more. I did find another one, and it is just as good. :)
